Frequently asked questions.

How do we book with you?

Simple! Just head over to Book Now and fill out the spaces required for your inquiry! I usually respond within 24 hours and if you haven’t heard from me in that time, check your Spam or Promotions folder.

Where should we do our shoot?

This is very much up to you! I have a list of places in the Mankato area, but I love learning about new places and I want the location to be somewhere you enjoy where you’re the most comfortable and excited! I also love traveling and don’t charge milage until 100 miles from Mankato!

Do you require a deposit?

I do require a non-refundable retainer to hold all dates. This retainer is included in the final cost of all bookings and not an additional fee.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I take credit or debit, PayPal, or cash.

Do you send out a questionnaire before our shoot?

I do! For weddings, I have a somewhat extensive questionnaire that helps you break down your full wedding day and who/what you would like photos of! For other photoshoots, I send out a questionnaire that’s more or less about getting to know you to make the day go smoother.

How do we receive our photos?

You will get your photos in an online gallery on Pixieset.com. You will have the option to download all of your images at full resolution. It also gives you the option to order prints, cards, and photobooks directly through the gallery store!

How long until we receive our photos?

Turnaround times vary depending on the duration of the photoshoot. For weddings, the Silver and Gold Packages have an 8-10 week turnaround time, whereas the Platinum Package is 10-12 weeks. For portraits and engagement sessions, the turnaround time is typically around 3 weeks.

Do you send RAW files?

I do not include any RAW files with my photoshoots.

How long do you hold on to our edited images?

You will have your gallery available to you for 1 month after your photoshoot. I cannot guarantee that I will still have your images after that, so please make sure to download them and save them in multiple locations just in case something happens!

If we book you and the GuthBooth at our wedding, will you have someone watching over the GuthBooth the entire time?

Unfortunately, I am one person so I can’t keep an eye on the GuthBooth while I’m photographing the Reception. That being said, the GuthBooth is extremely user friendly and I feel very confident leaving it alone for your guests to enjoy! I do go check on it from time to time and I will be there to answer questions or for troubleshooting!
